  • Zooming in and out of a big page is fast again (F-327). On a page with a lot of text, shadows and materials, such as the Website page of the PolyformLogo project (13,409 layers), each Ctrl+wheel step froze the app: about 0.7 s of work per step, a full zoom in and out took about 36 s, and the app could lose its GPU rendering. Now a step takes about 0.06 s, and the same zoom takes about 3 s. Three things were fixed:

    • zoomed-in text no longer falls back to a separate picture for every text layer;
    • a material that finishes drawing no longer makes Polyform redraw the whole document;
    • shadows away from where you are looking are drawn when you get to them, not all at once.

    Panning is unchanged.
