Added

  • Compare what an AI agent changed with what Roll back would leave. Compare, on a step or a change in the Changes tab, opens over the canvas with "Now" beside "Without this step": exactly what Roll back would give, worked out the way Roll back would do it, including the later steps it would take with it. On a step you rolled back, it shows what Restore would bring back. Three ways to look:

    • Side by side, with Ctrl+wheel zooming both pictures together and Space-drag panning them;
    • Onion skin, one picture over the other, with a slider (the arrow keys move it by 10 %);
    • Highlight, which fades "now" and paints the pixels that changed, outlines what was added, changed and removed, and says what share of the pixels changed.

    When a step touched several frames, a strip along the bottom shows them all together or one at a time. Compare never copies your document: it pictures only the frames the step touched, with the components they use, so it costs the same in a big file as in a small one. If the document changes while you compare, it says so, with Redraw. Done or Esc closes it. Your last way of looking is remembered.

  • Outlines on the canvas for the step you're looking at. While the Changes tab is open, the step you picked shows what it added (an outline), changed (corner marks), moved (corner marks, and a dashed outline where it was) and removed (a dashed outline where it was). The outlines have a dark edge so they show on white frames too. Clicking a removed layer in the list frames where it was and shows it there for a moment; clicking a property, such as Fill, outlines its layer on the canvas and in Compare.

Fixed

  • A boolean shape could be drawn with another document's outline when two documents held the same layer at once (F-330). Nothing did that before Compare, which draws its pictures from a second, smaller document.
  • The tests that measure how real AI agents use Polyform now let the agent read Polyform's guide (F-329), as a person's own agent can. The app itself didn't change. Earlier measurements were taken without the guide.
